Q1 What operating system is required to
run Milnes Jigsaws ?
A1 Windows 95 upwards.
Q2 Why is the download file a
Self-Extracting Zip file ?
A2 The size of the puzzles
depends on the files used to create them so the size does vary. To achieve the
quickest possible download speeds we convert it into a "self-extracting
zip" file - this means that you don't need any other program utilities to
open it.
Q3 How I download and run it then ?
A3 There several ways of
doing this - click here for the printable "Download
& Run Guide".
Q4 How do you recommend distribution ?
A4 You must have a Milnes licence to
copy and distribute a Milnes Jigsaw regardless of whether it is for sale or
free.
Each puzzle contains its respective licence.
Frequently the size of the distributable self-extracting file allows copying onto a 3.5" floppy disk.
So for manual distribution (post, courier, display
stands etc) we recommend copying onto either a 3.5" floppy disk or a CD which can be easily distributed.
This copying is very easily accomplished and cheap. Design and print colourful cover inserts etc.
Otherwise the puzzle can be put onto a web site and be downloaded from there.
Internet based Shopping Trolleys may be a good method for you too.
Q5 Do I have to be connected to the
Internet to play the jigsaw ?
A5 No you don't. The jigsaw
is installed onto your computer and you can play it at any time and repeatedly.
Q6 If I save a partially completed
puzzle how do I start playing it again ?
A6 Run the puzzle like you
did from the start. Once the puzzle is opened and the File Menu is displayed you
can select
File
Open and select the
'partially completed puzzle' file (the file has a ".pcp" extension).
You
must use the original puzzle each time you want to continue playing it.
Q7 What is your Policy on the privacy of
Players personal information ?
A7 We regard this as being
very important. Any information that we may receive about you will be kept in
the strictest confidence. We will never sell any information or any email
addresses that we may obtain. We may however email you to advise you of software
enhancements or releases and if we do we would offer you the opportunity to
advise us that you did not want further contact.
Q8 Can I use your images ?
A8 No. All images are
automatically covered by the NZ Copyright Act 1994 which also extends to all
countries in the world.

been taken in Wellington, New Zealand.
