Download and Run Guide.
There are several ways of doing this - here is one of them to guide you.
Firstly - we recommend that you have a Sources Folder designated for all your Milnes puzzles - I call mine "C:\Milnes".
*Downloading
On the "File Download" box you
will see the Open/Save/Cancel/More
info buttons - click on the Save
one.
On the "Save As" box navigate to your
Sources Folder (I would have c:\milnes)
and then click on Save.
The download will commence and show its
progress.
When "Download Complete" shows you will see the Open/Open Folder/Cancel buttons - click on the Cancel one.
Disconnect from the Internet. The rest can be done without the Internet.
*Run - do this each time to start the puzzle and/or to continue playing a partially completed puzzle.
Open Windows Explorer (or your favourite File
Manager program) and navigate to the Sources Folder ie "C:\Milnes".
Locate the downloaded .exe file and double click on it
and the puzzle will start. Easy.
*An Extra
Some people like to put an icon onto their
Desktop that will always start the puzzle. Refer to your favourite File Manager program
(ie Windows Explorer) and you may find that after highlighting the above
same .exe file and using a Right Mouse Click will reveal the option "Send to
Desktop - create
a shortcut".
Refer to your own Windows Help facilities if required.

Q6 If I save a partially completed
puzzle how do I start playing it again ?
A6 Run the puzzle like you
did from the start. Once the puzzle is opened and the File Menu is displayed you
can select
File
Open and select the
'partially completed puzzle' file (the file has a ".pcp" extension).
You
must use the original puzzle each time you want to continue playing it.
